Austin, TX – Amazon is on the hunt for a talented Security Engineer II to join its Stores Pentest Team, offering a competitive salary range of $136,000 to $212,800 annually. This role presents a unique opportunity to “hack” Amazon’s systems, fortifying its security and protecting millions of customers.

The Security Engineer II will be responsible for conducting high-quality penetration tests, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable remediation recommendations. This position requires a strong foundation in programming and a deep understanding of security principles.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of programming experience in languages like Python, Java, or C++.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in penetration testing or offensive security.
  • 3+ years of experience in threat modelling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in threat modelling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security.
  • Experience with AWS products and services.
