What Does a Red Team Lead Engineer Do?

As a Lead Engineer on Target’s Red Team, you’ll be at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

Adversary Simulation: Designing and executing sophisticated cyberattack simulations to uncover weaknesses.
Threat Intelligence: Researching and replicating the tactics of real-world threat actors.
Collaboration: Working closely with incident response, threat intelligence, and other cybersecurity teams.
Team Leadership: Mentoring and training junior team members.
Tool Development: contributing to the improvement of Red Team tools and procedures.

Who is Target Looking For?

Target seeks candidates with at least four years of experience in offensive or defensive security, a strong understanding of threat actor tactics, and a passion for continuous improvement. Desirable skills include:

Deep Red Team experience.
Experience with Blue Team operations (incident response, detection).
