About the Role:
As a Senior Data Analyst at Walgreens, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining compliance reconciliation processes. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, manage client correspondence, and ensure audit materials are organized and up-to-date. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data manipulation and reporting. You’ll also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, refining analytical processes and report formats.
Responsibilities:
- Query, review, and analyze data to prepare pricing and financial models using advanced Excel, Access, SQL, and SAS techniques.
- Create and maintain forecasting and underwriting models in Excel (including pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Utilize Access, SAS, and SQL to query and analyze large datasets.
- Lead tracking, analysis, reporting, and automation efforts to enhance pricing mechanisms.
- Identify and solve pricing problems through data analysis.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for pricing inquiries.
- Provide reimbursement rate recommendations based on complex pricing models.
- Communicate and collaborate with business partners across the organization.
- Present pricing proposals and data analysis to management.
- Prepare executive-level documentation of pricing recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Economics, Math, etc.) and 1+ year of relevant experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of relevant experience.
- 1+ years of pricing/financial analysis experience.
- 1+ years of advanced Excel experience for data analysis and modeling.
- Knowledge of data, business metrics, and operational processes.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced pricing and profitability modeling experience.
